The Year 12 Derby Scholars programme is for Derby city A level students predicted to achieve AAB and from WP backgrounds. Coordinated with Corpus Christi College Oxford – with input from Murray Edwards College Cambridge – it is a programme including online workshops, visits to the University of Derby library, and visits to the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge. Sixth forms help by nominating eligible students and providing permission to attend some activities during school/college time. Once the students have formally registered, coordination takes place with the students directly.
