Future Ready KS3
Future Ready KS3 programme encourages learners to think about their skills.
Covering communication, teamwork and time management, and the
importance of these skills for success at school and beyond.
They will reflect on and practice their own skills through various practical activities and group work.
• Years 7, 8 and 9 • Maximum 30 learners
• Three 1 hour sessions • Delivered in school

Communication Skills
Young people will be encouraged to practice and reflect on their communication skills, consider the different types of communication and learn about the importance of good communication skills at school and beyond.

Team Work
This session highlights the importance of teamwork by asking learners to take part in group activities, reflect on their teamwork skills and consider how different personality types, including their own, might impact teamwork.

Time Management
Learners will practice their time management skills by taking part in various activities including prioritisation tasks. They will reflect on their current skills and areas for development by considering why time management is important and how and why we prioritise time.
