Learning to Learn:the foundations of revision
Learners reflect on their current revision skills, explore the idea of the ‘learning journey’ to understand how we learn effectively and discuss the importance of a ‘growth mindset’.

Train your Brain:improving memory recall and retrieval
Learners explore theory around how memory works, apply the link/story revision technique to a set of data they are currently learning and explore other methods of boosting recall.

Test Ready:exploring revision techniques
A hands-on workshop evaluating a range of different revision techniques such as mind-mapping, Cornell notes, the protégé effect and effectively using mark
schemes and past papers. -
In the Zone:organising time and space
Learners discuss the importance of time and space management and apply some specific strategies to their own revision practices and life schedule. The session also explores the importance of balance to support wellbeing and wellness during exam periods.
