Finance resources

Although there is plenty of information about student finance available, it can sometimes be difficult to work out what this means in our local context.

To help you and your learners to make sense of what is available across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, we have highlighted the financial support on offer to learners entering further and higher education locally, focusing on what colleges and universities may be able to offer and the criteria they use. We also have a guide to transport costs, designed to help you to support your learners as they make decisions about further education.

In light of the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak in the UK, your learners may be asking questions about what happens with student finance and what action they need to take. Our FAQs for 2020-21 student finance applicants draw on the latest advice from Student Finance England to support you to answer these questions.
