We hope our learners had a restful break over the Summer. Here is what we got up to in our first week of the new academic year:
Abie, Aimee and Karolina were welcomed by Nottingham College where learners took part in HE Pathways . The learners engaged in a session all about their next steps whether that’s university or an apprenticeship and had some insightful questions that kept our team on their toes!
In North Derbyshire, Natalie introduced the Learn to Work programme at Heanor Gate Spencer Academy where Year 13 learners started to learn about Higher and Degree Apprenticeships and where they can find them. We’ll be working with these learners over the next 4 weeks covering a range of sessions to support and provide guidance learners through the application and interview/assessment process as well as identifying their current skills and experiences to support their future applications.
We are looking forward to seeing what our learners get up to this term.
